Everyone’s racing to map the AGI timeline:
A superhuman coder by 2027.
AI engineering AI by 2028.
Beyond comprehension by 2029.
That’s the projection.
But this isn’t about acceleration.
It’s about surrender.
The real risk isn’t that machines become smarter.
It’s that we forget what can’t be automated,
and why we ever mattered at all.
We’re not preparing for AGI.
We’re preparing to obey it.
The future of work won’t ask for your resume.
It will ask:
Do you remember how to feel?
Not how to code-
but how to care.
How to choose without defaulting to a machine’s logic.
Because once ASI builds itself,
we don’t just lose control.
We risk erasing the meaning of work.
This is the moment.
Not to panic.
Not to perform.
But to pause.
To ask:
Who holds the line when code becomes law?
Who protects meaning when perception is programmed?
Who chooses truth when convenience is easier to optimize?
We were never meant to keep up with machines.
We were meant to carry what they cannot hold:
Truth.
Presence.
Humanity: with depth, not speed.
That’s the future I’m holding.
So before you celebrate the next breakthrough,
pause and ask:
What’s being optimized out of existence?
And are we willing to lose it?
Can you hear it?
